Tannoy Moves Production to Kidderminster, Opening a New Chapter for the Next Generation of Audio Products
Tannoy has moved its production operations from Hamilton to a new facility in the UK. Located alongside MIDAS, the new site is designed to bring the engineering and manufacturing capabilities of both companies closer together and accelerate the development of future generations of audio products.
Tannoy has moved part of its manufacturing operation from its historic Hamilton facility to a new site in Kidderminster, UK. The new facility is located alongside MIDAS operations, with the move intended to bring engineering, product-development, and manufacturing teams from the two organizations closer together. Concentrating technical resources at a shared site can increase knowledge exchange between specialists and support a faster, more integrated product-development process. Tannoy, which has a long history in loudspeaker engineering and Dual Concentric technology, sees the move as part of its preparations for future generations of professional and Hi-Fi products. At the same time, the brand's accumulated engineering knowledge and experience remain central to the design and manufacture of its future products.
